Your Role As Team Leader – Social and Community Participation, you'll be at the helm of one of DLi's most valued programs — overseeing service delivery and leading the people, resources, and day-to-day operations that make it all happen. You'll lead a team of dedicated support workers delivering services across both community settings and our centre-based program, including our Windsor Gardens site. Your Experience You'll bring: - Proven experience in the operational management and design of tailored, outcomes-based Social and Community Participation programs, including Day Options
- The ability to work collaboratively with clients, their families, and key internal and external stakeholders
- A track record of leading, coaching, and developing support workers — including performance management
- Experience overseeing and implementing quality improvement initiatives
- Confidence in coordinating client onboarding, including the development of individual support plans and risk assessments
- Solid knowledge of NDIS practice standards and safeguarding requirements
Requirements of the Position Essential - Certificate III or above in Disability/Community Services, or equivalent tertiary qualification or relevant experience
- Proof of the right to work in Australia
- Current NDIS Worker Screening
- Current Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- Safe Environments for Children & Young People certificate
- First Aid & CPR
- NDIS Quality, Safety and You Certificate
- Demonstrated success in a similar role
- Experience in community and centre-based inclusion work for people living with disability
- Current Australian Driver's Licence or ability to travel independently to other DLi sites
Desirable - Certificate/Diploma in Front-line Management
- Medication Administration, Basic Continence Care, and Infection Control accreditation
- Manual Handling Certificate
Special Conditions Participation in the service-wide on-call roster, providing out-of-hours support to Community Support Workers.
